LEO TOLSTOY AND THE TRUE STORY OF HIS NOVEL ANNA KARENINA

"This is the title of the conference that I will begin to hold in the coming days, which I intend to take to different cities of the country, as a continuation of the activities aimed at the dissemination of Russian literature and its great writers, among whom Leo Tolstoy occupies one of the main places, not only in Russia, but worldwide.
This conversation consists of three parts, namely: the first of them will be aimed at making known different aspects of Leo Tolstoy's life and work, his relationship with the writers of his time, his philosophy of life that had an influence on outstanding personalities of the time.
A second aspect of the discussion will be related to various details of the novel Anna Karenina, the importance of this work for universal literature, the major topics covered in the novel, among other topics of interest to the reading public.
The third topic of the conversation will address the book “The True Story of Anna Karenina” by the writer Pavel Basinski, who in his research offers a series of hitherto unknown details about Tolstoy's work, about the characters and on which personalities of his time he based them to take them as prototypes of his novel.
A recurring theme in Russian literature of the nineteenth century is the impossibility of the female protagonists of novels to separate from their partners, for which different social and religious clauses are invoked, which for a person of our time look really incomprehensible, but which at that time were too rigid and could not be violated. The writer Basinski offers a rather detailed explanation about such situations."

This is the presentation of the narrator, Journalist Ruben Dario Gutierrez, who tells in a harmonious way the story of Leo Tolstoy's novel, Anna Karenina.
His narrative involves the audience present in the spaces of Russian House in the city of Caracas.
The audience is appreciated enraptured with the narrative of the journalist graduated from the University of Friendship of the People Patricio Lumumba.

Professor Rubén Darío Gutiérrez is a member of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (MAPRYAL for its acronym in Russian language), he is dedicated to journalistic and literary translation, he has also given more than 20 lectures in the last two years and they greatly popular among the reading public.
